The Mobility Committee 21 made a mistake by only reasoning in a purely Francocentric context, whilst dismissing the European dimension. To cover the latter, its reasoning should have extended beyond the map of corridors in order to complete:
- the Mediterranean corridor: by means of a Lyon-Montluçon-Limoges-Angoulème and Limoges-Poitiers branch, linking the Mediterranean and Atlantic corridors.
- the Atlantic corridor: by means of a Poitiers-Nantes-Rennes-Caen/Brest branch.
Hence the shameful map of connecting the national territory by the European corridors.
The map was influenced by the works of the Mobility Commission 21, which relegates the creation of any new lines, other than Bordeaux-Toulouse,and then Bordeaux-Dax, until after 2030.
